About The Position

SageCor Solutions is seeking a Scrum Master to support engineering and system-engineering work in the Maryland and Greater Washington, D.C. area. The role collaborates with product, engineering, and architecture leaders to maintain a clear, prioritized backlog; facilitate sprint ceremonies; promote and measure Agile metrics; coordinate work across Scrum teams; and gather and document technical and business requirements. An active TS/SCI with Polygraph is required.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.
• At least 5 years of experience managing teams to meet stakeholder objectives, such as in a Scrum Master role.
• Experience with JIRA.
• Experience leading client delivery engagements and working with senior-level client management.
• Experience teaching technical teams comprised of junior and senior team members basic Agile framework concepts.
• Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of experience gathering and documenting technical and business requirements, or at least 9 years of experience gathering and documenting technical and business requirements in lieu of a degree.
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Product Owner, Engineering Lead, and Chief Architect to ensure backlog quality, clarity, and prioritization.
• Facilitate sprint ceremonies that produce consistent outcomes.
• Promote and measure Agile metrics.
• Collaborate with other Scrum teams to align priorities, manage shared resources, and ensure consistent sequencing of work.
• Gather and document technical and business requirements.
• Lead client delivery engagements and work with senior-level client management.
• Teach technical teams with junior and senior members basic Agile framework concepts.
