About The Position

The Sr. Scrum Master Associate supports one or more scrum teams by facilitating Agile ceremonies, coordinating sprint execution, tracking impediments, and promoting continuous improvement within established Agile practices. This role serves as a day-to-day coordination point for Product Teams, Project/Program Managers, Scrum Masters, and business stakeholders to help ensure sprint activities, delivery updates, and cross-team dependencies are managed effectively. In addition, this role supports team productivity and delivery quality by facilitating scrum team activities, monitoring progress, and helping remove or escalate impediments as needed.

Requirements

  • Minimum 4–6 years of combined experience in information technology, business operations, product delivery, project coordination, or customer-facing application support environments.
  • Working knowledge of Agile frameworks, including Scrum and Kanban, and software development lifecycle practices.
  • Ability to facilitate Agile ceremonies and support effective meetings across co-located, hybrid, or distributed teams, including teams working across different locations and time zones.
  • Working knowledge of system release, deployment, and change management processes.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies for one or more scrum teams, including sprint planning, daily standups, backlog refinement, story point planning, sprint reviews/demos, and retrospectives.
  • Help ensure meetings are organized, focused, and aligned to established Agile practices.
  • Coordinate with Product Teams, Project/Program Managers, Scrum Masters, development teams, and business stakeholders to identify, assign, track, and communicate updates on action items, dependencies, risks, impediments, and product planning inputs.
  • Support timely follow-up, escalation, and stakeholder alignment related to sprint activities, roadmap discussions, business needs, priorities, and product delivery work.
  • Coordinate the end-to-end lifecycle of System Change Requests, including tracking status, preparing updates, and representing SCRs in Change Control Board meetings for review and approval.
  • Partner with development and release teams to support successful deployment of approved system changes.
  • Support production incident management by ensuring support tickets are opened, appropriate production operations and business stakeholders are notified, and communication channels are established to support timely issue resolution.
  • Track follow-up actions and provide status updates as needed.
