About The Position

This role is responsible for sweeping and mopping all Distribution Center (DC) floors utilizing a sweeper. The operator ensures the sweeper is cleaned daily and performs hand sweeping in areas not accessible by the sweeper, including the inside perimeter of the Distribution Center. The position requires adherence to safety procedures, maintaining an organized work area, and following all company policies.

• Required to operate Scrubber.
• Required to use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) per Distribution Center requirements.
• Must be able to effectively communicate with co-workers and management team.
• Has the necessary hand and motor skills needed to perform essential work activities.

Responsibilities

• Completes the daily Scrubber checklist to ensure equipment is working properly and reports any defects to management and/or maintenance.
• Operates Scrubber in a safe manner.
• Sweeps and mops all DC floors utilizing sweeper.
• Ensures sweeper is cleaned daily.
• Hand sweeps areas as determined by need.
• Hand sweeps all assigned areas not accessible by sweeper to include the inside perimeter of the Distribution Center.
• Follows set safety procedures and guidelines to maximize personal safety.
• Maintains an organized work area and promotes a safe working environment with the Maintenance department.
• Follows all Company policies and procedures.
• All other duties as assigned.
