About The Position

This position is responsible for the general cleaning of the warehouse, including ceilings, lights, walkways, ledges, beams, perimeters, and racks. The role involves maintaining and operating a powered floor scrubber according to the cleaning schedule, emptying and cleaning warehouse trash containers, and maintaining warehouse signs, fire extinguishers, drop stations, and safety mirrors. Additionally, the Floor Scrubber will clean warehouse equipment, stretch wrappers, dock pits, and dock locks, and will paint and maintain warehouse floor lines and walls as needed. The role also includes responsibilities related to food safety and quality plans, requiring monitoring, record-keeping, and reporting of any issues to management.

Requirements

• Ability to operate forklift
• Must pass Red Gold forklift operator requirements

Responsibilities

• General cleaning of ceilings, lights, walkways, ledges, beams, perimeters and racks
• Maintain and operate the powered floor scrubber in accordance with the cleaning schedule
• Empty and clean warehouse trash containers
• Maintain, clean and do upkeep on warehouse signs, fire extinguishers, drop stations and safety mirrors
• Clean warehouse equipment, stretch wrapper, dock pits and dock locks in accordance with the cleaning schedule
• Paint and maintain warehouse floor lines and walls as necessary
• Responsible for monitoring, record keeping and taking appropriate actions for specific Food Safety Plan and Food Quality Plan and pre requisite program requirements.
• Responsible to report food safety and quality issues to management.
