About The Position
The OR Scrub Technician performs technical functions related to the patient's perioperative experience. The role includes preparing the operating room environment, equipment, instrumentation, and supplies. The technician is responsible to the circulating RN and works in concert with the philosophy and goals of the department. A high school diploma or equivalent, Virginia Department of Health Professions licensure as a Surgical Technologist, and BLS certification are required. One year of scrub experience and certification in Surgical Technology are preferred.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Licensed Surgical Technologist by the Virginia Department of Health Professions.
- BLS certification.
