About The Position
Shady Grove Medical Center seeks to hire an experienced Scrub Tech I (non-certified) for our Labor and Delivery Department who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing.
Requirements
- High school or GED required
- Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technician program and certified eligible
Nice To Haves
- 1 year hospital Operating Room experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Assists the Surgical Team in providing a safe, appropriate, and culturally aware patient care
- Help surgeons during surgery by passing them instruments and other sterile supplies
- Prepare the Operation Room with all the necessary supplies
- Properly sterilize required instruments and supplies
- Serve as surgical assistant as needed
- Assist in order and restocking Operating Room supplies and instruments
