Scrub Tech, Variable Part-Time Rotating Shifts, Labor and Delivery
About The Position
Shady Grove Medical Center seeks to hire an experienced Scrub Tech I (non-certified) for our Labor and Delivery Department who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing. As a Scrub Tech I you will assist the Surgical Team in providing a safe, appropriate, and culturally aware patient care. You will help surgeons during surgery by passing them instruments and other sterile supplies, prepare the Operation Room with all the necessary supplies, and properly sterilize required instruments and supplies. You will also serve as a surgical assistant as needed and assist in ordering and restocking Operating Room supplies and instruments.
Requirements
- High school or GED required
- Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technician program and certified eligible
Nice To Haves
- 1 year hospital Operating Room experience preferred
