Schedule: Full-Time Days | 36 hours per week About Us - Endoscopy Gastroenterologists perform outpatient colonoscopies, liver biopsies, and endoscopic examinations of the esophagus, stomach, small and large bowel Your gastroenterologist frequently works with surgeons before and after an operation to help select the best operation for a particular patient and provide follow up care relevant to the particular digestive disorder

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist Program, Graduate of the Internal Freeman Health System Surgical Technologist Program, or has greater than two years of clinical practice as a Scrub Tech in a hospital setting.
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)
• AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers within 60 days.
• Skills Lab - Endoscopy RN - Tech Annually by transcript due date.

Responsibilities

• Under the supervision of the Registered Professional Nurse, participates in the intraoperative phase of patient care.
