About The Position

Bearon Manufacturing LLC, an affiliate of The Dixon Group, is hiring a Screw Machinist at its facility in Landisville, Pennsylvania. The role combines hands-on mechanical work with opportunities to develop technical and programming skills. The machinist sets up and operates production equipment to manufacture precision components while meeting quality requirements and following safety protocols. Motivated entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply; prior machining experience is preferred. Veterans are strongly encouraged to apply. The position is located at 801 Stony Battery Road, Landisville, PA 17538. Work hours are 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. The employer does not provide sponsorship to work in the United States.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong hands-on mechanical skills.
Ability and eagerness to learn, apply, and refine machine programming logic.
Ability to read technical blueprints.
Ability to use hand tools and apply shop mathematics.
Ability to use precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers.
Positive, team-oriented attitude, exceptional attendance, and strong self-motivation.
Ability to stand for standard 8-hour shifts and lift up to 50 pounds throughout production cycles.

Prior machining experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Set up, configure, and operate screw machines to produce precision components that meet quality specifications.
Identify and resolve machine or programming issues to optimize performance and reduce downtime.
Participate in specialized training to develop product knowledge and machining skills.
Perform routine daily maintenance and preventative care on machines.
Follow safety protocols and help maintain a safe, hazard-free environment.
Work across rotating shop assignments as needed to meet production goals.
