About The Position

Under the direction of the Screenprint Lead and Trainer, the Screenprint Unloader supports the Machine Operator by helping prepare the machine for screenprint decoration, pulling garments to place on the dryer, and cleaning and preparing the machine for the next order. The work involves changing orders, artwork, garments, screens, and inks throughout the day.

The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The wage is $16 per hour.

Requirements

• Ability to work well in a team.
• Reliability and responsibility, and the ability to take direction well.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks for several hours.
• Ability to stand for 8–10 hours a day.

Nice To Haves

• High school education is desirable but not required.
• Previous production experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Set up and tear down operational automatic screenprint presses.
• Remove and clean screens, squeegees, and flood bars.
• Replace machine screens and ink for each order.
• Return inks to their correct storage locations and notify the ink-mixing team about needed inks.
• Provide support to the machine operator as needed.
• Identify and clean all equipment after press use.
• Follow safety practices and identify and help resolve safety issues in accordance with OSHA standards.
• Work actively with others to complete the job.
• Perform other responsibilities as directed.
