About The Position

Best Promotions, a Texas-based subsidiary of HPG Brands, is hiring an onsite Screen-Printing Machine Operator to set up, operate, and monitor specialized equipment that prints designs, logos, and graphics onto glassware, plastic drinkware, ceramics, and other promotional beverage products. The role requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and a willingness to learn about different materials, inks, pretreatment processes, and printing configurations. The operator is responsible for consistent print quality, production expectations, safety procedures, and collaboration with the production team to meet customer deadlines. The position is in a fast-paced manufacturing and production environment. Operators stand and move throughout the production area for extended periods, handle products and machine controls, perform repetitive tasks, visually inspect products, and lift, carry, push, or pull materials within the position's established requirements. Nice To Haves

Previous experience operating screen-printing, pad-printing, or other industrial printing equipment.
Experience in manufacturing, production, machine operation, or quality inspection.
Experience working with multiple product types, printing configurations, inks, or coatings.
Experience troubleshooting equipment or making machine adjustments to maintain quality.

Responsibilities

Set up, operate, and monitor beverage screen-printing equipment according to production orders, specifications, and established procedures.
Prepare machines for production runs by selecting settings, tooling, fixtures, inks, and other required materials.
Work with glassware, plastic drinkware, ceramics, and products of varying shapes, sizes, and configurations.
Select and use the correct ink formulations and pretreatment processes for each product, following established procedures.
Inspect products for color accuracy, print placement, registration, clarity, adhesion, and overall quality.
Identify and address routine setup or print-quality issues, and communicate more complex problems to the team leader or supervisor.
Adjust equipment as appropriate to maintain consistent quality throughout production runs.
Read and follow work orders, production instructions, samples, and quality standards.
Maintain production pace while balancing setup, product handling, and quality expectations.
Count, handle, and organize products accurately to prevent damage, defects, and production mix-ups.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area and follow company safety procedures.
Complete production documentation and promptly report equipment issues, material shortages, defects, or delays.
Collaborate with team members, quality personnel, and supervisors to meet department goals.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
