About The Position
Market of Choice is hiring Scratch Bakers for its bakery team. Bakers use high-quality ingredients to prepare homemade baked goods, including products such as cakes, doughnuts, and bagels. Starting pay is $19.00 to $20.00 per hour depending on experience, with growth opportunity up to $24.50 per hour. Bakery staff are expected to be motivated, work effectively in a team environment, communicate well, and help create a pleasant in-store atmosphere through knowledgeable and friendly customer service. Requirements
- At least 1 year of professional scratch baking experience.
- Open availability.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Motivation, ability to work in a team environment, and effective communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Read recipes and use math skills to assemble ingredients for scratch preparations.
- Bake baked products and make frostings and custards.
- Communicate professionally and courteously to maintain positive relations with customers, employees, and vendors.
- Create and maintain store records.
- Perform general cleaning.
