About The Position

Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the warehouse and drivers. Ensures Team Members conduct operations safely and efficiently and that work areas meet safety requirements. The role helps implement effective safety and environmental systems to protect personnel, equipment, and property, and ensures facility and work areas are clean and orderly. It supports work instructions, process procedures, standards for material flow, inventory control, and storage layout and design. The role coordinates safety and process-performance audits, supervises training for new Team Members, and leads and participates in Kaizen and other continuous-improvement efforts. It also coordinates and provides leadership for preventive actions to reduce or eliminate waste and quality problems related to stored products.

Responsibilities

Direct, coordinate, and evaluate warehouse operations and drivers.
Ensure Team Members work safely and efficiently and that work areas meet safety requirements.
Implement safety and environmental systems that protect personnel, equipment, and property.
Maintain clean and orderly facility and work areas.
Support the establishment and maintenance of work instructions, process procedures, and material-flow standards.
Support and control inventory, storage layout, and design.
Coordinate Team Member safety and process-performance audits.
Supervise training for new Team Members.
Lead and participate in Kaizen and continuous-improvement efforts.
Coordinate and lead preventive actions to reduce or eliminate waste and quality problems for stored products.
