  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in biological, chemical, pharmaceutical sciences, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of direct biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or at least 3 years with a Master’s degree.
  • Experience executing LC-MS assays for endogenous small-molecule metabolites or lipids.
  • Experience with sample preparation techniques such as protein precipitation, liquid-liquid extraction, or solid-phase extraction.
  • Practical experience operating and troubleshooting modern LC-MS platforms, such as UHPLC, triple quadrupole, and high-resolution mass spectrometers.
  • Experience using analytical data-processing software.
  • A solid foundation in biochemistry and cellular metabolism.
  • Excellent communication skills and a track record of effective work in multidisciplinary project teams.

Nice To Haves

  • Hands-on experience or strong aptitude using Generative AI tools for coding.

Responsibilities

  • Perform onsite laboratory-based LC-MS workflows to acquire biomarker data supporting target biology evaluation, drug discovery, and development.
  • Use liquid-handling automation to perform sample preparation, including protein precipitation, liquid-liquid extraction, solid-phase extraction, and chemical derivatization.
  • Prepare and execute global and targeted metabolomics and lipidomics protocols using biofluids, tissues, and cells.
  • Process mass spectrometry data and perform statistical analysis using in-house AI/ML workflows and commercial software tools.
  • Apply rigorous bioanalytical quality control using common industry practices and critical analytical reasoning.
  • Organize and document accurate experimental records under the guidance of lead scientists, supporting timely delivery of data and study reports.
  • Support routine laboratory operations, including instrument maintenance, consumable and chemical management, and compliance with laboratory safety and quality standards.
