About The Position

Supports the development of next-generation T cell receptor (TCR)-engineered T cell therapies by preparing engineered TCR-T cells and testing their biological properties. The role reports to the Assistant Lead and collaborates with the broader team to deliver IND-ready candidates for the clinic.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8+ years of research experience in an academic laboratory or in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry.
  • Prior experience manipulating and culturing human T cells.
  • Prior experience in T cell engineering and molecular and cell biology techniques.
  • Prior experience conducting and analyzing adoptive T cell therapy studies using mouse tumor models.
  • Ability to collaborate, multitask, and work cross-functionally.
  • Strong organizational skills and close attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Support IND-enabling preclinical studies for TCR-T cell programs.
  • Generate engineered TCR-transduced T cells using molecular and genomic technologies and platforms.
  • Perform cell-based functional assays to examine biological properties in vitro.
  • Assist in testing the potency of TCR-T cells in tumor models in vivo.
  • Analyze experimental data, prepare summaries, and present findings at team meetings.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of experimental methods and results in laboratory notebooks, and write SOPs.
  • As needed, assist in training researchers and laboratory staff in equipment use and experimental techniques.
