Genentech's Translational Medicine OMNI (TM OMNI) Department supports the entire R&D portfolio of novel therapies in Ophthalmology, Metabolism, Neuroscience, Immunology, and Infectious Diseases (OMNI). We develop and implement biomarker strategies to study disease pathways, confirm a therapeutic's mechanism of action, and improve clinical trial efficiency and success. Additionally, we lead reverse translation efforts, leveraging clinical data to support target discovery. We are seeking a talented and highly motivated Scientist 4 to join Genentech’s Translational Medicine (TM) team on-site at our South San Francisco campus. The candidate will collaborate with scientists across R&D to provide biomarker support for ophthalmology programs across different stages of drug development while also generating insights for the next generation of ophthalmology drug targets.
