The Translational Medicine OMNI department at Genentech provides the scientific and strategic framework to inform clinical development across Ophthalmology, Metabolism, Neuroscience, and Immunology. Our research encompasses biomarker discovery, personalized healthcare strategies, and clinical translational research to study the molecular pathways driving disease. Within Multiple Sclerosis (MS), our team leverages human clinical biospecimens, deep molecular phenotyping, and computational approaches to evaluate disease heterogeneity, advance novel target understanding, and ensure that every clinical decision is grounded in robust translational science. We are seeking a talented and highly motivated Scientist 3 to join Genentech's Translational Medicine OMNI team in South San Francisco. The successful candidate will contribute to the MS translational research program by integrating human clinical data with advanced molecular profiling and omics technologies to drive biomarker discovery and disease biology insights. This role sits at the intersection of clinical development and translational science — the ideal candidate is comfortable working with clinical biospecimens, interpreting high-dimensional datasets, and contributing findings that directly inform clinical trial design and molecule progression.
