The Scientific Project Manager, Tsai Lab, at the Picower Institute for Learning and Memory (PILM), will manage and support research activities, and provide assistance with fundraising and personnel in the laboratory of Professor Li-Huei Tsai. This role involves managing and administering the grant and gift portfolio and leading the proposal application, presentations, and report process for the laboratory, the Aging Brain Initiative (ABI), and the Neuro-Therapeutics De-risking effort. The lab's research focuses on the molecular-, circuit-, and systems-level basis of neurological disorders impacting learning and memory, utilizing model systems such as transgenic mice, human induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC) models, and human brain samples. Multidisciplinary approaches include in vitro and in vivo electrophysiology, neurocircuitry mapping, neurobehavioral testing, biochemistry, immunohistochemistry, large-scale imaging, epigenomic and transcriptomic approaches, and computational analysis of big data using machine learning.
