About The Position

The College of Engineering and Technology at Grand Canyon University (GCU) is seeking passionate and engaging adjunct faculty to teach part-time, face-to-face instruction on our Phoenix campus. This role involves facilitating classroom lectures and discussions, mentoring students, and assessing their performance. As an adjunct faculty member, you will support GCU's mission and values, providing a positive example to students. The course, 'Scientific Computing for AI,' covers numerical methods for differential equations, stochastic simulation, and high-performance computing, focusing on applying these techniques to AI algorithms and models.

Requirements

  • Bachelor in Computer Science or Bachelor in Statistics or closely related degree
  • 18 graduate credits in AI
  • Proficiency in AI theoretical concepts and Python

Nice To Haves

  • Master's in Science in Computer Science OR Master's in Statistics or closely related degree
