About The Position

Morristown Junior-Senior High School is seeking a full-time science teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. This position will have an emphasis on physical sciences: Chemistry, Physics, and/or Earth Space Science.

Requirements

• Valid Indiana teaching license
• Bachelor's Degree in Education or related field
• Strong background in Physical Science content and instruction
• Knowledge of best practices to meet the individual needs of students at a variety of skill levels
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team of educators
• Able to make data-informed decisions that will build upon each child’s area of strengths and needs
• Ability to incorporate technology effectively to support learning and instruction
• Highly organized
• Strong communication skills
• Self-motivated
