About The Position

Cross Country Education is seeking a dedicated Science Teacher to make a positive impact in a supportive school environment in Bridgeport, CT. Join our team of Science Teachers for the '26-'27 school year and help students with diverse learning needs. Deliver engaging chemistry and physics lessons to students in grades 7-12, while maintaining a structured and productive classroom environment. Plan, prepare, and implement daily lesson plans, activities, and assignments, as well as create and grade assessments to evaluate student progress and understanding.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Minimum of 12 Credits in subject area if not a certified Teacher (transcript required at time of submission)
• 1-2 years of teaching experience in the subject area
• Classroom teaching experience in the subject area (if not a certified teacher)
• Experience with lesson plans, managing a classroom, etc. (if not a certified teacher)

Nice To Haves

• Connecticut Teaching Certification Preferred for Science/ History Positions
