About The Position
American Straight A Academy (ASAA) is seeking part-time remote high school science teachers to teach globally with flexible hours. ASAA is a fast-growing international online school that delivers American high school education to students worldwide. The open subjects are Chemistry and Biology at the high school level. Teachers can choose between two class schedule options: Option 1 is Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 9:00 PM to 11:30 PM Eastern Time, and Option 2 is Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 7:00 AM to 9:30 AM Eastern Time. The teaching commitment is flexible with no upper limit, and hours depend on teacher availability within the chosen schedule. The role involves teaching engaging 1-on-1 or small group (2-6 students) online classes, delivering lessons using structured teaching materials, and tracking student progress with timely post-class feedback.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above (Master’s preferred)
- At least 1 year of teaching experience in a related subject area (high school experience preferred)
- Strong communication skills and a professional teaching attitude
- Reliable, punctual, and consistent in teaching delivery
Responsibilities
- Teach engaging 1-on-1 or small group (2–6 students) online classes
- Deliver lessons using structured teaching materials (textbooks, slides, etc.)
- Track student progress and submit timely post-class feedback
