About The Position

DS Bus Lines Inc. is seeking a dedicated, safety-conscious Mini-van Driver to transport students safely and reliably to and from school, programs, field trips, and other approved activities. The driver operates a company-provided mini-van and is responsible for student safety, professionalism, and punctuality. The position works a Monday–Friday split shift and pays $17.25 per hour. Requirements

Valid standard driver’s license.
Meet all DMV and DOT requirements.
Clean driving record and strong attendance history.
Ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and DOT physical.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and maintain professionalism in all interactions.

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a mini-van in compliance with federal transportation regulations.
Transport students to and from school, field trips, and other approved destinations.
Ensure student passengers’ safety and well-being during boarding, transit, and exiting.
Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe vehicle environment.
Follow assigned routes and schedules reliably and punctually.
Communicate with dispatch, school staff, parents as needed, and supervisors.
Complete required documentation, including mileage logs and incident reports.
Remain alert, attentive, and compassionate while supervising students on board.
