School Success Manager

Marble HealthNew York, NY
Hybrid

About The Position

Marble partners directly with schools to ensure students get timely, affordable mental health care. As we expand into new states and deepen our footprint with existing partners, our success depends on strong, trusted relationships with school leaders and counselors. We are hiring a School Success Manager to own a portfolio of school partnerships and drive growth by building long-term relationships with school counselors on the ground. You will be the strategic and operational counterpart for one of our most important stakeholders - equal parts trusted advisor and growth driver. This means providing reliable, timely, and thoughtful support for counselors' questions and concerns, while proactively identifying opportunities to deepen partnerships and help more students access care. This is not a passive relationship management role. You'll bring a sales mindset to every partnership - challenging counselors to think expansively about which students could benefit from Marble's services, making the ask confidently, and holding yourself accountable to clear referral and engagement metrics. You'll own outcomes, not just activities. No day looks the same, and you'll need to be comfortable with ambiguity and frequent context-switching. In one moment, you might be designing a virtual workshop to raise mental health awareness across New York schools; in the next, you could be on the phone supporting a counselor navigating a sensitive situation with a family. You'll operate within a complex, human-centered system involving schools, clinicians, families, and internal teams (Ops, Product, Growth, Clinical). Using sound judgment, empathy, and a results-oriented mindset, you'll make a meaningful difference in the day-to-day experience of the people you work with - and in Marble's growth trajectory.

Requirements

  • 2-3+ years of professional experience in a customer-facing role, operating within a fast-paced, complex environment
  • A proven sales or business development track record, ideally in a B2B2C or B2C setting, where you consistently exceeded targets and weren't afraid to make the ask
  • High EQ with the ability to quickly build trust, understand stakeholder context, and communicate clearly with busy partners
  • AI-native: you actively use tools like Claude Cowork to automate workflows, draft communications, and surface insights - and you're always looking for new ways to multiply your output
  • Experience working with CRMs or account management tools to track relationships, activity, and follow-ups
  • Metrics-driven approach - you set goals, track progress, and hold yourself accountable to outcomes, not just effort
  • Based in New York or willing to relocate — we work from our SoHo office three days per week

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working at an early-stage startup
  • Experience working in EdTech or otherwise interacting with K–12 educators / school-based stakeholders
  • Background in, or a demonstrated strong interest in, mental health, psychology, or adjacent human-centered services

Responsibilities

  • Own a portfolio of school partnerships end-to-end: Act as the primary point of contact for school counselors, ensuring consistent, high-quality support and delivery. You’ll build a deep understanding of each school’s context, coordinate internally to resolve issues, and be accountable for engagement and outcomes across your portfolio.
  • Be a trusted day-to-day partner for counselors: Maintain regular touchpoints with schools, respond quickly and thoughtfully to questions or concerns, and proactively identify opportunities to better support counselors and the students they serve. You’ll help schools navigate referrals and ongoing engagement with Marble.
  • Drive growth within established partnerships: Expand Marble's impact at every school in your portfolio by helping counselors identify more students who could benefit from care. You'll use a consultative, value-led approach to deepen engagement - making the case for Marble, growing referral volume, and consistently hitting and exceeding your targets. You know how to nurture a relationship and close the loop.
  • Build and optimize your workflows with AI: You'll use tools like Claude Cowork to automate repetitive tasks - drafting follow-ups, summarizing meeting notes, building outreach sequences, generating reports - so you can spend more of your time on the relationships that move the needle. We expect you to be genuinely excited about finding new ways to work smarter.
