About The Position

Clarifi Staffing Solutions is partnering with an Illinois school district to find a compassionate School Social Worker for the upcoming school year. This position centers on helping students navigate challenges that may affect their learning, relationships, behavior, attendance, and overall school experience. Requirements

• MSW from an accredited institution.
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
• Excellent organization and case documentation abilities.
• Current Illinois PEL with School Social Worker endorsement.
• Familiarity with behavioral and social-emotional support strategies.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual or group-based support, assess student needs, document services, and participate in multidisciplinary planning.
• Maintain communication with families and school personnel while helping connect students to appropriate resources and interventions.
• Provide direct student support, identify areas of concern, and help develop practical strategies to address social-emotional and behavioral needs.
• Advocate for students while working alongside educators and families to coordinate appropriate services.
• Contribute to IEP development, student meetings, progress documentation, resource coordination, and crisis support as needed.
