About The Position

Nyman Associates is seeking compassionate Licensed Social Workers to support students’ social-emotional wellbeing in school-based settings. The role provides services addressing students’ social, emotional, and behavioral needs and collaborates with teachers, administrators, parents, and community resources to foster academic success and personal development. Placement opportunities may be tailored to candidates’ interests, preferred age groups, and schedules. Team members receive support from clinical leads and directors, along with professional development opportunities.

Requirements

Master’s degree in social work (MSW) from an accredited program.
State licensure or certification as a social worker (LSW, LCSW, or equivalent), or a School Counselor certificate through the Pennsylvania Department of Education.

Responsibilities

Provide counseling and support to students.
Assess and evaluate students’ needs.
Provide crisis intervention.
Engage with parents and families.
Provide prevention and education to promote positive mental health and social-emotional skills.

Maintain accurate and confidential records of interactions and interventions with students and families.
