About The Position

Ampersand Therapy is hiring a part-time School Social Worker for the 2026-2027 school year in the Champlin, MN area. We’re seeking passionate and collaborative professionals who are excited to make a meaningful impact in the school-based setting. This role involves providing school social worker services, conducting assessments, developing and implementing IEP goals and therapy plans, participating in IEP meetings, collaborating with school teams, partnering with teachers and families, maintaining documentation, and monitoring student progress.

Requirements

• Master’s Degree in School Social Work
• Active Minnesota School Social Worker License through PELSB
• Background check and drug screening required

Nice To Haves

• Experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Provide school social worker services in the school setting
• Conduct assessments and write comprehensive evaluation reports
• Develop and implement IEP goals and therapy plans
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with school teams
• Partner with teachers and families to support carryover of skills
• Maintain timely documentation, progress notes, and compliance records
• Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
