About The Position

Lead engaging after-school soccer classes for students in grades K–5 at elementary schools across the Bay Area. Create a fun, supportive environment where children can learn, play, and thrive. Classes are 1–1.5 hours long, start between 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, and instructors work two or more days per week for a maximum of 2–5 hours weekly. The role includes a two-day training session and requires transporting and setting up soccer equipment.

Requirements

• Be at least 19 years old.
• Have at least a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Be able to work independently and within a small team.
• Have a passion for working with children and effective classroom management skills.
• Be flexible, reliable, punctual, professional, and enthusiastic.
• Have strong communication skills and a resilient, positive attitude.
• Have reliable transportation throughout the East and South Bay and Peninsula.
• Be local to the US or possess a valid working visa; visa assistance is not provided.

• Previous experience in teaching or playing soccer.

Responsibilities

• Energize and manage classes of 8–16 students aged 5–10.
• Teach soccer using provided lesson plans.
• Participate in a two-day training session.
• Transport and set up soccer equipment for each class.
• Take attendance and manage student sign-in and sign-out procedures.
• Communicate positively with parents and school staff.
• Provide constructive feedback on each student's progress.
• Take photos of children during sessions to showcase their progress.
