School Soccer Activity Instructor
About The Position
Euro School of Tennis is seeking reliable, energetic, and positive coaches to teach beginner-level programs for children ages 5–10 (Grades K–5) at schools throughout the Bay Area. The role is in person. Company lesson plans and equipment are provided, and the goal is to create a fun, active, and supportive learning environment for young players. The posting describes regular coaching opportunities, including weekday programs and weekend tennis clinics. Regular programs run Monday through Friday, around 9:00 AM–1:00 PM, with back-to-back sessions available. Saturday tennis clinics run Saturdays and/or Sundays, also with back-to-back sessions available. Pay is $18–$24 per hour. Coaches demonstrating strong tennis and coaching skills may be eligible for these programs. Coaches must attend two unpaid training/shadowing sessions, each lasting 2–3 hours. Applicants must currently live in the Bay Area and be available for in-person work. Visa sponsorship is not available.
Requirements
- Be at least 19 years old.
- Enjoy working with children.
- Have strong communication and classroom management skills.
- Have a valid driver's license and personal vehicle.
- Be authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.
- Complete required employment screening and documentation.
- Provide a photo and short biography for the company website.
- Currently live in the Bay Area and be available for in-person work.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Nice To Haves
- Playing or coaching experience is preferred but not required.
- USPTA or PTR certification is a plus.
- Strong tennis and coaching skills for eligibility for the listed programs.
Responsibilities
- Teach classes using company lesson plans.
- Manage groups of 8–16 students.
- Create a safe and positive learning environment.
- Attend a two-day unpaid training/shadowing session, with sessions lasting 2–3 hours each.
- Take attendance and manage student sign-in and sign-out.
- Communicate professionally with parents and school staff.
- Take a few class photos for program documentation.
