About The Position

KRE Security, LLC is seeking reliable, consistent, and highly qualified Armed School Security Officers for a school district in Duncannon, PA. This position provides coverage across three separate school buildings and offers a stable weekday schedule, long-term placement, and year-round earning opportunities. Requirements

• Act 235 certification preferred or the ability to obtain it
• Prior military, law enforcement, corrections, or armed security experience preferred
• Clean criminal history and ability to pass all required screenings
• Candidates are responsible for obtaining and providing their own required school clearances, including: FBI fingerprint-based background check, Pennsylvania State Police criminal background check, Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and secure school environment
• Conduct patrols of school property and surrounding grounds
• Respond appropriately to emergencies and security incidents
• Monitor entrances, visitors, and access control
• Build positive working relationships with school staff and administrators
• Complete all reports and required documentation professionally and accurately
• Coordinate with school officials and emergency responders when necessary
