About The Position

We are currently seeking a professional ACT 235 Certified Armed Security Officer to provide coverage in the Allentown area. This position averages 24 hours per week (Monday–Friday) with the opportunity for additional hours through armed ATM coverage assignments, potentially reaching up to 40 hours per week when needed. This role offers consistent weekday work with no shifts extending past 4pm for standard coverage.

Requirements

• Valid ACT 235 Certification (Pennsylvania)
• Prior armed security experience
• Must possess own firearm
• Must have proper holster and duty gear
• Professional demeanor and reliability
• Ability to work flexible weekday shifts
• HS Diploma GED or H.S. Equivalent
• PA ACT 235 License
• Driver's License
• License to Carry a Firearm
• Personal firearm ownership

Responsibilities

• Provide armed security coverage at designated sites
• Maintain high visibility and deterrence presence
• Ensure safety of personnel, property, and assets
• Cover ATM security details when scheduled
• Complete required reports and documentation
