About The Position

In this role Physical Security Officers (PSO’s) can expect to be working in demanding and fast paced environments. Physical Security Officers may find themselves working in a wide range of areas to include medical centers, government facilities, hospitality venues and public events. Additionally, Physical Security Officers may be asked to work with a firearm. The PSO's mission is to protect all people, information and property assigned, while delivering on high end customer service. Physical Security Officers represent the front line of our security services.

Requirements

• ACT 235 (current)
• 21 years of age
• Current and valid DL
• High school diploma or GED
• 1 year experience in armed security required
• Must be able to pass Physical Agility Test and Armed Security Officer course
• Must be able to pass drug screen
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Proficient time management skills
• Reliable transportation
• Excellent de-escalation skills
• Proficient firearms skills
• Extensive use of force knowledge
• Must be able to pass a comprehensive background investigation, urinalysis screening and OPS training requirements

Responsibilities

• Delivering high end customer service
• Responding to emergencies
• Deterring and preventing crime
• Performing ingress/ egress control procedures
• Investigating incidents
• Completing daily logs and incident reports
• Conducting regular walking or vehicle patrols
• Building and Maintaining a professional rapport with clients, guests and co-workers
• De-escalating conflicts
• Monitoring CCTV cameras
• Performing other related duties as assigned
