About The Position

The School Safety Systems Analyst supports the implementation, integration, maintenance, and performance of district-wide school safety, fire/life safety, and security technology systems. This role ensures system reliability, minimizes downtime, resolves network and synchronization issues, and optimizes operational efficiency while maintaining regulatory compliance and mission-critical infrastructure. The position serves as the Subject Matter Expert for technology support of district-wide School Safety systems, including Access Control, Fire Alarm and Life Safety Systems, Security Cameras, Intrusion Detection, Environmental Monitoring, Body-Worn Cameras, and Phone and Radio Communications.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Network Engineering, Cybersecurity, Data Analytics, or a closely related technical field and one (1) years of experience in business process analysis or computer hardware, software, or database development, maintenance, or testing OR Associate’s degree (AA or AS) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Network Engineering, Cybersecurity, Data Analytics, or a closely related technical field and three (3) years of experience in business process analysis or computer hardware, software, or database development, maintenance, or testing OR Five (5) years of experience in business process analysis or computer hardware, software, or database development, maintenance, or testing.
  • Knowledge of physical security systems, life-safety operations, and emergency management practices supporting educational and/or public service facilities.
  • Experience providing set-up, configuration of security administration and assigning users to appropriate user roles.
  • Demonstrated experience troubleshooting enterprise-level system synchronization, server communication failures, and cross-platform integration issues.
  • Experience collecting, analyzing, and interpreting operational data to support system performance monitoring and decision-making.
  • Verbal & written communication skills in English and a demonstrated ability to read and comprehend written/graphic and oral instructions.
  • FBI fingerprint background check.
  • Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles), or proof of MMR immunization.
