About The Position

Administers professional and construction contracts to ensure all TUSD buildings are constructed safely and are functional. This position plays a vital role in managing and overseeing of district wide construction projects, from initiation through completion. Responsibilities include overseeing project timelines, developing precise cost estimates, maintaining rigorous documentation, and fostering transparent communication with stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering or related field.
  • Five years of experience in building construction, renovations and construction management; OR Nine years of experience in building construction, renovations and construction management.
  • Knowledge of OSHA, State and City building and fire codes and regulations.
  • Proficient using word processing, database, spreadsheet programs and project software programs.
  • Verbal & written communication skills in English and a demonstrated ability to read and comprehend written/graphic and oral instructions.
  • FBI fingerprint background check.
  • Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles), or proof of MMR immunization.
  • Must hold a current Arizona Driver’s license and have accrued no more than the allowable points against Driver’s License as described under Governing Board Policy: EEB-R-1 Business and Personnel Transportation Services - Transportation by Employees.
