About The Position

Valor Force is seeking professional, highly qualified Level 3 Commissioned Security Officers for armed School Resource Officer (SRO) positions. The role requires strong critical thinking, excellent communication, and sound judgment when interacting with students, staff, families, and law enforcement. Level 2 license holders will not be considered. The schedule is weekdays during school hours and aligns with the school calendar. Pay is $20.00–$22.00 per hour. Applicants must provide their own duty gear and service firearm, maintain a clean-cut professional appearance, and hold an active Texas DPS PSB Level III license.

Requirements

Active Texas DPS PSB Level III license in hand; Level 2 license holders will not be considered.
At least 21 years of age and a U.S. citizen.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Able to pass a comprehensive background check and physical fitness assessment.
No felony convictions within the last 10 years.
No Class A misdemeanor convictions within the last 5 years.
No Class B misdemeanor convictions within the last 2 years.
No family violence convictions.
Not currently on deferred adjudication or facing open cases for any felony, Class A, or Class B misdemeanor.
Proficient in safe firearm handling and manipulation.
Able to handle physical work involving standing, walking, sitting, running, climbing, or crawling for extended periods in all weather conditions.
Strong attention to detail and work ethic, and ability to work independently.
Quality written and verbal communication skills.
Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and a working phone.
Must possess a service firearm, such as a Glock, Sig Sauer, H&K, or Smith & Wesson M&P in 9mm, .40 cal, or .45 ACP.
Must possess a Level 3 retention holster, duty belt, and OD green tactical pants.
Must have a clean-cut professional appearance.
