About The Position

The School Relations Coordinator is responsible for a wide range of tasks that are essential to the smooth running of the Child Care Center, including clerical work, cleaning, and helping in the classroom. The School Relations Coordinator serves as the liaison between Pathways Learning Academy and the Church Administrative Teams, with a focus on building strong relationships.

Requirements

• Must meet and maintain all standards and requirements as it relates to education and experience as set forth by the state and accreditation agent.
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Excellent customer service, communication, organization, and time management skills.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office including, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Demonstrates an understanding of all current state and local regulations.
• Must be able to communicate in the English language.

Nice To Haves

• Previous work experience in a childcare environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cultivates a close working bond with Church leaders through ongoing communication and collaboration. May attend Offsite meetings as necessary.
• Promote the positive image of the company and play a key role in making the company a provider of choice for the communities we serve. Greet new and existing families, prepare welcome packets, and assist with tours.
• Manage incoming and outgoing calls, assist with data entry, filing, accounts receivable collection, and various projects and duties as assigned by management.
• Responsible for daily cleaning duties which include sweeping, mopping, disposing of trash.
• May be asked to work in classrooms when needed.
• Strives to achieve our Safety Vision of “No One Gets Hurt”. Ensures safety of children outside of the classroom by following state laws in regard to suspected child abuse or neglect.
