About The Position
The Arc Erie County New York is seeking a compassionate School Registered Nurse (RN) to join its Education Program in Cheektowaga, New York. The nurse provides care to students with developmental disabilities, supports their health needs, and helps maintain a safe, healthy, and supportive learning environment. The position offers a Monday–Friday daytime schedule, paid school holidays and breaks, and no evening, weekend, or holiday work. The organization provides PPE and medical supplies and offers medical, dental, and vision benefits, a 403(b) retirement plan with employer contribution, 10 paid holidays, and automatic PTO.
Requirements
- Current New York State RN license and registration.
- A compassionate nurse who enjoys making a difference and being part of a team.
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate nursing care to students with developmental disabilities.
- Administer medications, monitor health needs, and provide necessary treatments.
