About The Position
The Arc Erie County New York is hiring a compassionate and dedicated School Nurse to join our Education Program in Cheektowaga. This role offers a consistent daytime schedule, making a meaningful difference in the lives of students with developmental disabilities. The Arc Erie County NY is a leading nonprofit supporting people with developmental & intellectual disabilities across Western New York, through innovative residential, educational, clinical and employment services. Requirements
- Current New York State RN license and registration required for RN consideration.
- Valid New York State LPN license
Nice To Haves
- Experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care and support to students with developmental disabilities.
- Administer medications and treatments as appropriate.
- Monitor student health needs and maintain accurate medical records.
- Collaborate with families, educators, and healthcare professionals to support student well-being.
