About The Position

Performs all duties of a School Psychologist, under the direct supervision of one or more TUSD School Psychologists. Responsibilities include psycho-educational evaluations, individual and group counseling, and staff consultations. This is a temporary position effective for the 2026-2027 school year and will end in June 2027. The position is classified as Supervisory/Professional, works 8 hours per day on a 10-month calendar, and is 1.0 FTE. Requirements

  • Must be part of an accredited University/College program in Psychology working towards a doctorate degree.
  • All pre-requisite work required by the School Psychology Program must be completed.
  • Applicant should have completed a Psychology Externship and Practicum requirements.
  • Must possess an AZ IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card prior to start date.
  • Must provide proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles), or proof of MMR immunization prior to start date.
  • Must complete Bloodborne Pathogen training offered by TUSD Risk Management Department prior to start date.
  • Will complete School Psychology Master’s Degree program in May 2027, or earlier.
