School Psychologist – Part-Time | Forest City, NC | 2026-2027 School Year | Up to $60/hour Position Details: K-12 Caseload Starting August 2026 Part-Time, very flexible schedule About the Role Hello, School Psychologists! Ampersand Therapy is hiring a full-time School Psychologist for a K–12 school setting in Forest City, NC . In this role, you’ll play a critical part in student success by conducting evaluations, supporting IEP development, and collaborating with school teams. We welcome new clinicians and seasoned professionals alike!
Requirements
- NCDPI License in School Psychology
- Strong assessment, writing, and collaboration skills
Nice To Haves
- NASP membership a plus
Responsibilities
- Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and assessments
- Write comprehensive evaluation reports and IEP documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Provide progress monitoring and maintain compliant documentation
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and special education staff
- Support student behavioral, social-emotional, and academic needs
- Assist in developing appropriate interventions and supports
- Ensure timelines and compliance with state and federal regulations
