The School Psychologist will provide consultation services to teachers, teacher assistants, and related service staff on behavioral interventions, data collection, and psychological/psychiatric conditions. This role involves conducting psychological and cognitive testing, assisting with educational evaluations, completing Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs), and participating in IEP/CSE meetings. The psychologist will also collect and analyze behavior data, consult with the campus psychiatrist, chair team builder meetings, and attend campus-wide critical behavior meetings. Maintaining training in therapeutic crisis intervention (TCI) and modeling positive behavior intervention and supports (PBIS) are key aspects of the role. Additionally, the psychologist will participate in intake meetings and screenings, and perform other assigned duties.
