About The Position
This is a full-time (1.00 FTE) temporary position for a School Psychologist within the Celtic Family, Student Services. The anticipated start date is August 1, 2026, with an end date of July 31, 2027. The posting is for Round D and the closing date for applications is August 5, 2026, at 12 noon.
Requirements
- Valid Nova Scotia Teachers license
- Master's Degree in Psychology
- Registered or eligible to register with NSBEP
Nice To Haves
- Experience working in schools and/or working with school aged children
- Experience working with collaborative and multidisciplinary teams
- Knowledge of the Program Planning Process
- Knowledge of the Inclusive Education Policy and MTSS
- Knowledge / familiarity with TIENET
- Experience with a wide variety of assessment tools
- Experience providing parent feedback in a clear, concise and caring manner
