About The Position

This is a full-time (1.00 FTE) temporary position for a School Psychologist within the Celtic Family, Student Services. The anticipated start date is August 1, 2026, with an end date of July 31, 2027. The posting is for Round D and the closing date for applications is August 5, 2026, at 12 noon.

Requirements

  • Valid Nova Scotia Teachers license
  • Master's Degree in Psychology
  • Registered or eligible to register with NSBEP

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in schools and/or working with school aged children
  • Experience working with collaborative and multidisciplinary teams
  • Knowledge of the Program Planning Process
  • Knowledge of the Inclusive Education Policy and MTSS
  • Knowledge / familiarity with TIENET
  • Experience with a wide variety of assessment tools
  • Experience providing parent feedback in a clear, concise and caring manner
