About The Position

This is a Term position for a Core French Circuit Teacher at Springhill Elementary School. The assignment involves 60% at Springhill Elementary for Grades 4-6 French and 40% at Parrsboro Elementary for Grades 4-6 French, along with P-2 Prep Coverage/Integrated Tech. The position is full-time (1.00 Percent Of Time) and is anticipated to start on 08/01/2026 and end on 07/31/2027.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Education Degree
• French Second Language Methodology
• Minimum Advanced French Proficiency (as verified by the OPI instrument)
• Teaching methods courses at corresponding levels (Grades 4 to 6 Core French requires Elementary methodologies)
• Ability to effectively deal with situations that are likely to arise (minimum threshold of 70% for external applicants)
