$24,000 - $30,000Remote

About The Position

ClassDojo's mission is to give every child an education they love, starting with a network connecting teachers, children, and families. Their flagship app is the leading communication tool for K-8 teachers, children, and families globally, used in over 95% of US schools and reaching approximately 51 million children in 180 countries. The company is now expanding to provide exceptional learning experiences beyond standard schooling. ClassDojo values talent density, hiring individuals with expertise in education and large-scale consumer internet companies, aiming to be a place where talented people do their best work and pioneer the future of education. As a School Partnerships Specialist, you will be a key representative in priority markets (Atlanta, Los Angeles, Miami-Dade, Louisville, and New York City). Your role is to help schools enhance family engagement and foster positive school culture. This field-based position requires a deep commitment to ensuring all schools have the resources to connect meaningfully with families. You will visit schools, consult with principals on their unique challenges, and advise school leaders and teachers on strengthening communication, building inclusive communities, and developing positive classroom culture. Leveraging local relationships and credibility as an education leader will be crucial for building trust and opening doors. The role emphasizes autonomy, a proactive approach to being in schools, and a performance-based compensation model.

Requirements

  • Former school principal, assistant superintendent, instructional coach, or education leader with deep, active relationships in one of the priority markets (Atlanta (GA), Los Angeles (CA), Miami-Dade (FL), Louisville (KY) and New York City (NY)).
  • A genuine passion for family engagement and school culture — you've seen firsthand how connecting families to what's happening at school transforms outcomes for kids.
  • Extensive personal network among school leaders and district administrators in your market — the kind of relationships where you can pick up the phone and get a meeting.
  • Strong presentation skills with experience leading professional development sessions, faculty meetings, or schoolwide presentations.
  • Self-starter who can independently manage outreach, scheduling, and field logistics with minimal oversight.
  • Comfort with a performance-based compensation structure tied to measurable outcomes.
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally to school sites 3+ days per week.
  • Familiarity with the K-8 education landscape, including current challenges facing school leaders and teachers.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct schoolwide teacher-facing presentations to introduce ClassDojo and drive teacher sign-ups.
  • Attend principal association meetings, regional education events, resource fairs, and back-to-school events to build pipeline and schedule school leader meetings.
  • Maintain a target pace of approximately 6 school site visits per week across 3 field days, with remaining time dedicated to outreach and scheduling.
  • Track and report on key activity metrics including visits booked, visits completed, teacher sign-ups generated, and school leader engagements secured.
