Requirements

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution.
Teaching experience with students with a variety of learning, emotional, or cognitive disabilities.
Department of Justice/FBI Background Check (or equivalent state or national fingerprint clearance).
TB Clearance
Eligibility to work in the US

Responsibilities

Provide consultation to educational teams to teach and model socially acceptable behavior, employing techniques such as behavior modification and positive reinforcement.
Support educational teams in order to establish and enforce rules for behavior and policies and procedures to maintain order among students that align with the program guidelines.
Employ a problem-solving process to determine a course of intervention as prescribed by the district’s tiered behavior interventions.
Confer with parents, administrators, and educational team members to develop alternative educational plans designed to promote students’ educational, physical, and social/emotional development.
Provide feedback and corrective strategies to educational teams as follow-up to applied interventions.
Observe, evaluate, collect and analyze data of students’ behavioral performance in collaboration with the educational team.
