About The Position

Want a job where you actually make a difference? As a BrightBee Paraprofessional, you’ll support students in local schools—helping them learn, grow, and succeed. You might work 1:1 with a student or support a classroom alongside a teacher. No two days are the same—but every day matters. During your interview we will go into detail about what assignments are available at these sites. The more sites and assignment types you are open to working, the more your earning potential is. Flexible Work That Fits Your Life Work 2–5 days per week (Monday- Friday). Schedule/Hours Available 7am-4pm Monday-Friday. Great as a side hustle or consistent weekly income. If you want flexible work AND meaningful impact—this is it. What is a "Hive?" A hive is a geographical region of multiple school districts and sites that you (as a Bee) will be able to claim assignments at. These assignments could be as short as a single day or as long as multiple week/months. You should be willing/able to commute to various school sites in Marin area to be considered. What Type of Work is Available? We’re recruiting paraprofessional candidates for Novato Schools to support school operations with flexible schedules and opportunities for consistent, longer-term work. Please note that these roles are structured as 1099 independent contractor positions.

Requirements

48 college credits
Experience working with students with disabilities
Pass a background check
Follow safety and reporting guidelines
Complete required school clearances which you are responsible for paying.
