About The Position

As a BrightBee Paraprofessional, you will support students in local schools, helping them learn, grow, and succeed. You might work 1:1 with a student or support a classroom alongside a teacher. The role offers flexible work that fits your life, with opportunities to work 2-5 days per week (Monday-Friday). Available schedules and hours vary by grade level. This position is great as a side hustle or for consistent weekly income, providing flexible work and meaningful impact.

Requirements

• 48 college credits
• Experience working with students with severe disabilities
• Pass a background check
• Complete required school clearances including a Mandated Reporter Training
• Follow safety and reporting guidelines
• Pass a background check, livescan and may need to obtain other necessary testing/clearances and provide authorization to contact former employers.

Nice To Haves

• RBT experience a plus
• Bilingual (Spanish)

Responsibilities

• Support students with learning and classroom activities
• Help manage behavior using positive reinforcement
• Assist during lunch, recess, and school activities
• Work closely with teachers and school staff
