School Paraprofessional (Severe)
About The Position
As a BrightBee Paraprofessional, you’ll support students in local schools—helping them learn, grow, and succeed. You might work 1:1 with a student or support a classroom alongside a teacher. No two days are the same—but every day matters. We are currently partnered with the following school districts: Bay Area Community Resource, Delta Prep, Futuro. During your interview we will go into detail about what assignments are available at these sites. The more sites and assignment types you are open to working, the more your earning potential is. This role offers flexible work that fits your life, with opportunities to work 2-5 days per week (Monday-Friday). Both full school day and afterschool schedules are available, making it a great option for a side hustle or consistent weekly income. If you want flexible work AND meaningful impact—this is it.
Requirements
- 48 college credits
- Experience working with students with severe disabilities
- Pass a background check
- Follow safety and reporting guidelines
- Complete required school clearances
Nice To Haves
- RBT experience a plus
- Bilingual (Spanish)
Responsibilities
- Support students with learning and classroom activities
- Help manage behavior using positive reinforcement
- Assist during lunch, recess, and school activities
- Work closely with teachers and school staff
