About The Position

The School of Education seeks applications for temporary instructor positions within the Higher Education Leadership program for the 2026 – 2027 academic year. Instructors will teach hybrid courses using video conferencing and synchronous learning technologies in their areas of expertise. Positions are hired periodically for fall, spring, and/or summer terms, contingent upon enrollment and need. Reappointment may depend on performance and funding availability.

Requirements

Earned doctorate in higher education leadership or a related field.
Demonstrated excellence and experience as a higher education leadership scholar/practitioner/administrator.
Experience teaching in organizational theory, higher education finance, or related areas.
At least three years of professional work experience in a higher education setting.
Ability to submit application materials (cover letter and CV) by December 31, 2026.

Nice To Haves

Experience in teaching using video conferencing and synchronous learning technologies.
Experience with mentoring and advising graduate student scholar practitioners.
Record of scholarship and publication in higher education leadership or a related field commensurate with a research university.

Responsibilities
