This includes preparing and serving food items to students and school personnel, and maintaining food service facilities in a safe and sanitary condition. The role involves attending training, cleaning, evaluating food, inspecting supplies, inventory management, equipment maintenance, record-keeping, merchandising food and beverages, monitoring kitchen and cafeteria areas, overseeing food preparation and serving, performing other nutritional service positions as needed, preparing food and beverages according to recipes, receiving and storing food items, and reporting supply needs and equipment malfunctions. Workers operate under direct supervision using standardized procedures.
